NITV Radio sit down with Shellie Morris who has dedicated 25 years to using music and now in her newest children's album is 'Singing For Our Little Ones' is a celebration of the Warumungu language.
Shellie collaborated with Warumungu elders Rosemary and Marlene Plummer and Miriam Frank to create this album geared towards young ones with great care and consideration for the Warumungu language now considered "severely endangered" by UNESCO as there are fewer than 50 fluent speakers left.
Shellie shares with NITV Radio about her writing process, working with the community and the experience have the kids involved in the song making.
