A cantora e compositora Montaigne foi escolhida para representar a Austrália no Festival Eurovisão da Canção, na Holanda, no próximo mês de maio.

Ela venceu os outros 9 candidatos - entre eles Casey Donovan, Vanessa Amorosi, Mitch Tambo e Didirri - na final televisiva "Australia Decides" na Gold Coast, ontem à noite, transmitida pela TV SBS, com a canção 'Don't Break Me'.

Montaigne disse estar muito entusiasmada e com esperanças de vencer o Eurovisão 2020 para a Austrália:

"This is very cool, and I'm very excited to do the performance and to hopefully amp it up a bit too, and just like train for it and get really good at doing it. I'm excited. Its going to be great."
