Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag has been accused of trolling a 20-year-old Indian university student.
Gurmehar Kaur, has allegedly been threatened with rape after she launched a campaign against a right-wing student union following violent clashes in a college in Delhi.
Gurmehar’s father was an officer in the Indian Army who died during the 1999 Kargil conflict between India and neighbouring Pakistan.

The former Indian opener last week tweeted a photo of himself, holding a paper that said, "I did not score two triple centuries, my bat did."
Sehwag has been accused of targeting a previous campaign of Gurmehar promoting peace between India and Pakistan when she said War killed her father, not Pakistan.
Many social media users have taken one or the other side, including Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda who said Gurmehar is being used as a "prop".

Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda later posted a clarification on both Twitter and Facebook.
Hooda said he was simply reacting to Sehwag's witty tweet.
"I'm being held responsible for instigating hate threats against a young girl, shockingly by the girl herself. That’s absolutely untrue. That was never our intention and our tweets is not the source of all the hate she might be receiving", he wrote on Facebook.
"She spoke up, she stood for something she believes in, so then, she must also have the courage and fortitude to listen to the voices against it," he added.
Top journalists and activists have criticised the former Indian cricketer for his tweet.
Gurmehar said her stand is not for or against any political party but against violence on the campuses.
