Police are seeking public assistance to help identify a man of Indian Sub-Continental appearance who was struck by a truck in Broadmeadows, in North of Melbourne on Tuesday morning.
The pedestrian had no form of identification on him.
Emergency services were called to the incident at the intersection of Dimboola Road and Pascoe Vale Road about 6.45am at the scene of the incident.
The pedestrian, believed to be aged in his late 20’s, was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the truck stopped at the scene and rendered assistance.
Police said the victim was wearing a black and burgundy button up shirt, black tracksuit pants, a white baseball cap and black sketchers shoes.
Investigators are hoping someone might know who he is.
