Police searching for Melbourne girl, Rubushini

Rubushini was last seen at Nobel Park High School on November 10 last year. There are concerns for her welfare due to her young age.

16-year-old Rubushini Sachthananthameorthy has been missing since November last year. She was last seen at Nobel Park High School on November 10.

Police are appealing for help from the public to locate her.

Police say it is believed she may be with a boyfriend in Queensland, but there are concerns for her welfare due to her young age.

Earlier police believed she could be in Sunshine North in Melbourne's west.Rubushini is described as about 155cm tall with a solid build, long black wavy hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a school uniform consisting of a white shirt, red skirt and school shoes.

Police have released her images in the hope that someone who may have seen her can provide information about her whereabouts.
