The video footage of a hawk throwing a live snake on a family in Melbourne has gone viral on the internet. Many internet users have also questioned the veracity of the video.
A YouTube user uploaded the video on his YouTube channel showing a hawk taking flight before picking something and then the bird appears to fly with a snake in its claws, finally dropping it near the family have a picnic along the Yarra River in Melbourne.
“so funny. bird dropped snake on my uncle last weekend. scary!” wrote Douglas Wong on YouTube.
But not everyone is convinced that it actually happened.
“100% Fake you can tell by the way it flys the motion in the wings are,” wrote a YouTuber, Mr Bio Lumin
However, Douglas told Huffington Post that video was real.
