An Indian-origin woman was brutally attacked by a knife-wielding home invader in Sydney.
Neha Singh who is eight weeks pregnant, was punched in the stomach and her 16-month-old son threatened by the bandit who also ransacked their Homebush West unit before fleeing empty handed.
“I had a lot of pain and I can’t sleep all night,” said Neha.
Neha's husband Harswinder Singh said she was punched in the stomach several times and threatened with a knife.
“This guy come to my wife and grabbed her from the hair and just throw her to the wall,” he said.
He said, after ransacking their bedroom, the invader turned on their son, Shevy, and tried to “suffocate” him.
The ordeal has left the family so shaken that they did not return to their home and are now looking for other properties.
The attacker is described as Caucasian, wearing black clothes with a black scarf covering his face.
The Singhs’ home was robbed six days ago, they suspect by the same man.
