Punjabi singer Babbu Maan's security has been scaled up after the singer received a death threat from a caller identifying himself as a Bambiha gang member. This comes months after Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead in Punjab's Mansa district in May.

Famous Punjabi singer Babbu Maan's security has been tightened up after he filed a complaint of receiving a death threat via phone call.

Punjab Police is probing the incident and has beefed up the security outside Mr Maan's residence in Mohali.

Police said in a statement, "The state of Punjab does not want to take any chances after Sidhu Moosewala's killing."
