Corporate employee Sanket has spent the past year balancing his full-time job with his passion for filmmaking. After a year of hard work, his debut film, Between Cradles, has premiered at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2026, one of the biggest festivals celebrating Indian cinema outside India.
The film tells the story of a nanny from a low-income family who leaves her own child at home to care for a wealthy family's child. It explores themes of classism, poverty and motherhood in India.
