Trained as an engineer in India, Kamalpreet moved to Australia in search of new opportunities — but never let go of his childhood dream of serving in uniform. Now a Flying Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), and one of the few with Punjabi roots to wear the uniform, he shares how he turned that dream into reality, what the journey has meant to him and his community, and what it means to represent both his heritage and his new home.
