There has been a sharp reaction from Pakistan's government to US President Donald Trump's revocation of $900 million aid to the country.
Earlier, President Trump began the new year by accusing Pakistan of "deceit and lies", following it up with complete withdrawal of military and other aid.
The government of Pakistan has reacted sharply to the sanctions, releasing a statement of how much the war on terror has actually cost Pakistan. There have been protests in many parts of the country, against the US move as well.
