René Magritte's paintings of clouds, hats, pipes and apples are some of the most recognizable images of surrealism or, as the artist himself called his style, magical realism. The Magritte exhibition at the Art Gallery of New South Wales includes more than 100 works, most of which have never been exhibited in Australia before. It will run until February 9, 2025.
