Dear listeners, in the interests of balance and to ensure we reflect all the views within the Russian speaking community in Australia, we are about to air an interview with Elena Bondarchuk. In Russia, Elena graduated from Novosibirsk University, got a degree in statistics, and worked in her specialty. After moving to Australia, she works in a factory as an electronics technician. Elena supports the Russian government’s activities in Ukraine. SBS has not been able to independently verify through reputable sources any of the statements made in this interview.


Based on reputable sources, including the official position of the Austrian Government and the Office of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, SBS has been defining the events in Ukraine as an invasion by the Russian Military and using the term War.
