வறட்சிக் காலத்தில் வீட்டுத் தோட்டத்தை செழிப்பாக வைத்திருப்பது எப்படி?

தண்ணீர் பற்றாக்குறையுள்ள வறட்சிக் காலத்திலும் எமது வீட்டுத் தோட்டத்தை செழிப்பாகவும் குளுமையாகவும் பச்சையாகவும் வைத்திருப்பது எப்படியென விளக்குகிறார் விவசாய அறிவியலாளர் கலாநிதி விக்டர் ராஜகுலேந்திரன் அவர்கள். அவருடன் உரையாடுகிறார் மகேஸ்வரன் பிரபாகரன். தற்போது New South Wales மாநிலம் முழுவதிலும், 60 வீதமான Queensland மாநிலத்திலும் போதுமான மழையின்றி வறட்சி நிலவுகிறது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கதாகும். Dr Victor Rajakulendran graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Sri Lanka, Peradeniya campus with a degree in Agricultural Science . Worked as a Lecturer in Entomology at the same University. Did Post-Graduate studies in Entomolgy at Texas A&M University, in College Station, Texas and obtained a M.S and a P.hD in Entomology. Lectured at the University of the South Pacific in Wesrern Samoa and from there migrated to Australia. Worked in Australia for more than 23 years as a Research Entomologist first as a Vegetable Entomologist and then as a Fruit Fly Entomologist and retired 6 years ago.
