Newcastle has a thriving Tibetan community, committed to sustaining Tibetan culture and language for the years to come. Pema Tsering, the former community president tells SBS Tibetan that the young kids are able to speak fluent Tibetan thanks to the joint effort of the volunteer teachers and the parents.
