ABOUT THE 4TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE NATIONAL GUARD OF UKRAINE AND THE NATIONAL HERO VYACHESLAV CHORNOVIL

The management and communication systems are being improved rapidly, the logistics is constantly developing, the newest models of military equipment are being adopted," the President said during at the solemn ceremony on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the National Guard of Ukraine. On March 25, 2018, Ukraine honored the memory of the National Hero Vyacheslav Chornovil on the 19th anniversary of his death. A Ukrainian politician, journalist, Soviet dissident, and leader of a national movement. Vyacheslav Chornovil, who was killed in a late-night car crash as he was returning to Kyiv from an election meeting, managed the difficult transition from Soviet-era dissident to politician, but never quite achieved the success he had hoped for in realising his ideal of an independent Ukrainian state.
