AUSTRALIAN AND UKRAINIAN ANZACS

Thousands of Australians have commemorated ANZAC Day at home as a mark of respect to those who served in war. With coronavirus restrictions forcing the cancellation of public ceremonies and marches, many residents across the country gathered at dawn in driveways and streets, playing their own renditions of the Last Post. Prime Minister Scott Morrison laid a wreath and spoke at a dawn service in Canberra.
