Bogdan Rudnytski interviewed Stefan Romaniw, OAM, Chairman of the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations. Also Mr Romaniw is Vice-president of the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC). We spoke about Ukrainians around the world, Ukrainian nationalism and the 60th anniversary of Stepan Bandera's death in Germany. We also covered the MH 17 tragedy and the Russian propaganda machine with a documentary titled MY 17 – Call for Justice. In addition, Mr Romaniw spoke about the appointment of Mariia Kupriianova as Executive Director of the Ukrainian World Congress. In her new role, which begins November 1, Mariia will be responsible for leading UWC’s operations, managing staff and supporting volunteer-led committees. In collaboration with the UWC Board and Executive Committee, she will represent and advocate the UWC’s positions to global stakeholders, including governments, civil society and supporters.
