MINISTER DR ULANA SUPRUN CONTINUING THE EUROMAIDAN THROUGH HEALTH CARE REFORM

Bogdan Rudnytski and Mariana Davydowska interviewed Minister for Health Dr. Ulana Suprun from Ukraine. Ms Suprun moved to Kyiv in December 2013 and was appointed Ukraine's Acting Minister of Health in July 2016. Minister Suprun has been pressing for a complete revamp of Ukraine’s health care system and believes health care reform will likely be postponed until after the 2019 presidential election. Hosted by Association of Ukrainians in Victoria and the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations Dr. Ulana Suprun had meeting with Australia’s Minister for Health, President of the Australian Medical Association and the Chair of the Victorian Medical Association. Also Minister officially opened exhibition in Melbourne “Holodomor – Genocide by Famine”.This year Ukrainians and international community around the world marks 85 years since the Holodomor, Ukraine's genocide of 1932–33. The exhibition telling the story of the millions who died and those who survived to make their lives in Australia. The exhibition highlights the experience of 26 survivors who resettled in Australia.
