ONE MORE STEP IN THE RETURN OF UKRAINE TO THE EUROPEAN FAMILY

On Friday, September 1, the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement entered into full force and effect, as foreseen by the respective statement earlier released by the EU.The document comprises of two parts; the economic part foresees implementation of the free trade area, which already works since January 2017. More than 3 years ago millions of Ukrainians came out to the squares requiring the government to sign this Agreement. Millions of Ukrainians defended their choice, Petro Poroshenko emphasized."The Association Agreement, including its Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA), is the main tool for bringing Ukraine and the EU closer together: it promotes deeper political ties and stronger economic links, as well as respect for common European values," the European External Action Service (EEAS) said in a statement.
