The first top level talks between Russia and Ukraine since Russia invaded Ukraine have made no progress towards agreeing a ceasefire to help civilians. Officials in the besieged port city of Mariupol say Russian forces are continuing to bomb residential areas, forcing a humanitarian convoy heading there to turn back. And Roman Abramovich - the Russian billionaire owner of the English football club Chelsea - is among a group of seven oligarchs with close links to President Putin who’s being sanctioned by the British government.
