In this bulletin: Militants attack a hotel in the Somali capital Mogadishu. A life sentence for an IS militant. AFL set to investigate an on-field taunt.


1. French President Emmanuel Macron has told his Russian counterpart he's concerned about safety risk at the Zaporizhzia nuclear plant in Ukraine.
His office says President Putin has agreed to send a mission of experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency to the site.
Ukraine's nuclear power plant operator says it suspects Russia is planning to decouple the plant from Ukraine's power grid.
The Kremlin says Mr Putin said shelling of the Russian-controlled nuclear site, which he blames on Ukraine, created the risk of a large scale catastrophe".
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres says he hopes talks between Russia and Ukraine will see the facility returned to civilian control.
2. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has met a delegation of European mayors met in Kyiv.
