Президент України Володимир Зеленський поговорив телефоном з американським колегою Джо Байденом. «Українська армія здійснює на півдні нашої країни доволі швидкий і потужний рух у межах поточної оборонної операції. Від російського псевдореферендуму звільнено вже десятки населених пунктів лише за цей тиждень. Це на Херсонщині, Харківщині, Луганщині й Донеччині разом. Зокрема з військових зведень з Херсонщини: звільнені від окупанта та стабілізовані населені пункти Любимівка, Хрещенівка, Золота Балка, Біляївка, Українка, Велика й Мала Олександрівки та Давидів Брід. І це ще далеко не повний перелік... Наші воїни не зупиняються. І це лише питання часу, коли виженемо окупанта з усієї нашої землі…», - Президент України наголосив у відеозверненні до України та світу.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated another eight settlements in Kherson Oblast from Russian occupiers. The Ukrainian army is carrying out a pretty fast and powerful advance in the south of the country as part of the current defensive operation. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in a new video address.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. President Joe Biden have discussed additional sanctions against Russia, the situation at the front, the export of agricultural products and joint international measures.The Ukrainian head of state thanked for the strong support of Ukraine consistently demonstrated by the U.S. government. Volodymyr Zelenskyy separately noted the recent two packages – 1.1 billion dollars in security assistance and almost 12.4 billion dollars in aid to Ukraine.

The recapturing of Lyman was a significant victory for Ukraine.
