Bogdan Rudnytski interviewed Stefan Romaniw, OAM, General Secretary of the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) and President of the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations. Ukraine's President and Ukrainian community around the world asked for help from the international community and the U.N. to do more to resolve the crisis in East Ukraine and to send peacekeeping troops to Donbas, Mr Romaniw said. Also we spoke about the the Australia - Ukraine Parliamentary Group (AUPG). The AFUO has been encouraging Members of the Federal Parliament to formalise the Group in the life of the 45th Parliament. The AFUO considers the AUPG as a major vehicle in promoting a strong and positive working relationship between the Australia and Ukraine. 30 Members of Parliament have joined the group with others indicating they intend to join (Chair Chris Crewther MP, Senator Catryna Bilyk, Deputy Chair).
