Ukrainians fleeing war arrive in Australia and are reunited with loved ones

Emotional Ukrainians have touched down in Melbourne and Sydney, fleeing their war torn country and reuiniting with anxious loved ones.


Immigration Minister Alex Hawke confirmed on Friday that the federal government has granted more than 3,000 visas to Ukrainians since 23 February "as part of the international response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine".
