UN AND UKRAINE: WHAT'S NEXT?

UN General Assembly, New York. Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko has repeated his call for a full United Nations peacekeeping mission, telling the world body that such a mission should be authorized to patrol Ukraine's border with Russia. We remain convinced that the full-fledged UN peacekeeping operation is the only viable solution to de-escalate (the conflict), to protect the people of Ukraine, and to get us closer to a political solution, Mr Poroshenko said.
