English-speaking migrants in Australia more likely to become CEOs than those born here

A new study of Census data has some good news for those born in England, the US, Canada and South Africa.

Your place of birth could be a factor when it comes to whether you'll get to the top of the career ladder in Australia, a study has found.

The report from Macquarie University’s Faculty of Business and Economics looked at Australia’s Census data from 2011 and found that while Australia’s workforce is highly diverse by international standards, it isn’t the case when it comes to the highest ranking positions.
