Student visas applications rejected at record rate

International student visa rejection rates are on the rise. A potential reduction of up to 90,000 visas has been estimated. Statistics show that while more than 570,000 visas were approved last fiscal year, about 20 percent were rejected, a dire situation for prospective international students.
