Zushan Hashmi with us with us in the studio. He talked about on a number of topics, ranging from his experience as a student to his test in music. He is about to complete his Masters in International Relations at the University of Sydney. He has also helped in launching and developing the South Asia Study Group at the Department of Government and International Relations at the University. Here has organised a range of seminars, events, and conferences to generate academic and policy discourse and discussion on South Asian politics and South Asia-Australia relations, including Sydney's first Pakistan Summit, India Summit, Women of South Asia Summit, amongst various other conferences and seminars. Alongside this, he has worked on building a network for South Asian academics with a focus on social sciences, but also including other interdisciplinary researchers. More recently, Zushan also became a counsellor at the Sydney University Postgraduate Representative Association. After this, he was elected into an executive position as the Director of Student Publications. Lastly, Zushan regularly writes opinion articles for publications in Australia and internationally as well. He has written on a range of different topics, including, but not limited to, Digital Diplomacy, the 'Afghan' Cameleers, Australia-India-Pakistan relations, ethnic minority groups Etc.
