Majority of Muslims around the world are respectful to their Christian neighbors and exchange messages of Christmas and new years greetings but some extreme Muslim groups do not support it. Recent controversy was generated by some members of Muslim community during Christmas in response to Christmas greeting letter sent on behalf of Islamic Council of Queensland. Dr Ali Kadri is spoke person of ICQ describing the experiences where some even goes to extreme declaring him non-Muslim. Muslim Scholars Ozair Akber of Brisbane and Dr Shabir Ahmed of Sydney also sharing their views.
