Munawar Hassan is recently appointed a community ambassador by Cricket Australia. He has organised numerous events since 2010. He feels honoured to achieve his new role at Cricket Australia as a Community Ambassador and thankful to Cricket NSW, Sydney Thunder, his friends, family members, and specially his wife Tara who supported him throughout his struggle. He is also running Sydney smashers Cricket Club. Currently he is organizing "7th Tape Ball Cricket Cup 2016. The Tournament will be held on 3 Oct 2016 at Clemton Park, Kingsgrove Sydney. Around 500 people are expected to attend this family oriented event.
