Students in a language class

More than 300 languages are spoken in homes across Australia, but that diversity is not being reflected in the classroom. Recognising that, SBS Radio is encouraging students for the third consecutive year to take up its National Language Challenge to help promote the benefits of learning a second language. The national competition is open to people of all ages for the first time. It is also open to those learning English as a second language. The SBS National Language Competition closes on November the 18th. Want to know more, click here: What is the SBS National Languages Competition?
