FOBGAYS stands for Friends and Families Of Brown, South Asian Gays, Lesbians, Bisexual, Queer, Transgender, Intersex & Asexual+ Peoples. It is a Sydney based grassroots network for family and friends of South Asian LGBTQIA+ peoples. We had four members of FOBGAYS who were happened to be from the same family: Rishi Sharma, Siddhant Sharma, Giti Datt, and Indu Datt in our studio. We had a chat about the issues that the South Asian LGBTQIA community is facing and how their families and friends can be a support in raising awareness.
