“It is the first time that Library will be hosting such an event where we will celebrate Eid and organise activities to showcase Pakistani culture,” says Uzma Rubab who is the mind behind this idea.
Ms Rubab ran another project at the library last year and was impressed with the support she got from the management.
If someone can help us set up a food stall, they are welcome; if you are an artist who can perform or sing or dance, you are welcome; basically anything that you can do that promotes Pakistani culture is welcome
