The two teams will play their Cricket World Cup match at Taunton, UK.

Pakistan and Australia are both looking for a win in the upcoming world cup match.

The green shirts currently have 3 points after a win against the host team England and a point from the rain-abandoned match against Sri Lanka last week.

The South Asian team is now looking for more points to secure a sure place in the semi-finals of the tournament.

Meanwhile, the Aussie team lost their last match to India and are hoping to have another win under their belt.

Talking to SBS Urdu, Australian Cricket journalist Dennis Freedman said that both sides would like to win this match.

“I think that Australia has more runs up their sleeves than Pakistan do. Having said that, if Pakistan can see off Star and Cummins, the remaining Australian bowlers at the moment are quite weak.

“You need Fakhar, Imam or Babar to hang around a bit; even Shoaib Malik can put up a quick 80 runs off 50 balls in the end.

“I would expect Australia to win following classical measures of who would win, but if Pakistan wins I would not call it an upset.

"We got to remember that a couple of years back these guys, with a similar team won the Champions Trophy and they were number one team for a while."

“You don’t beat England if you don't have something special.”

Freedman said that for Australia to excel in the World Cup, Steve Smith’s performance is the key.

“I am not sure if David Warner has found his rhythm yet. It looks like he is a bit hampered with how to play but Steve Smith’s form while waiting for the run and now is just phenomenal. The guy is a once in a generation player.

Now without the captaincy on his shoulders, it gives him the freedom to take it to one step further.”
