Rumi - Truck art in SalamFest Melbourne

The concept of Salamfest mobile came about early this year, with a simple brief to paint a car in a traditional Pakistani Truck art style as part of the SalamFest festivities. Painting Artist Sohail Yameen told SBS that car painting has an affirmation of Islamic art that also have belonging to Australia with slogans such as Home Is here, Australian multiculturalism and Embrace Diversity on the car panels.
