Tahir Faridi is a Canada-born converted qawwal. Faridi feels that Qawwali gives a message of spiritualism and has all he was looking for.He considers his best spiritual and emotional attachment with the performance at the Urs of Baba Farid Shakar Ganj in Pak Pattan Pakistan. He has performed around the world including Australia and Indian subcontinent and visited many Shrines including Khawja Gharib nawaz, Data Gunj bukh. He says most of his audience are those who wants something more of substance than just music.
