Overeating meat during Eid-ul-Adha can lead to health issues such as heart disease, high cholesterol, diabetes, indigestion, and fatty liver. Health experts highlight the importance of moderation and recommend increasing the intake of a balanced diet during the festive season.



Canberra resident Hina Hamees says that for the past several years, she has been making various dishes at her home on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. She said that some people eat in moderation and pay special attention to their diet, but those who are carnivores eat various dishes made from meat to their full stomachs.
Dietitian Dost Muhammad Bangash said that do not eat meat in moderation on Eid al-Adha because eating meat for three consecutive days is the most likely cause of heart disease.General Physician Dr. Syed Zia Hussain says that eating too much meat can lead to diabetes very quickly.
