BPSOS and eight Vietnamese social organizations have submitted a report to the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Committee to prepare for a review of Vietnam's implementation of the Anti-Torture Convention, which will take place on 2 and 3 November.

The report focuses on torture cases targeted at participants or suspected of participating in protests against the draft Law on Cyber Security and the Law on Terrorism.

Dr. Nguyen Dinh Thang of PBSOS said about the content of the report, hopes for the United Nations actions and whether Vietnam strictly enforced under the Anti-Torture Agreement.
