The Trump administration in the United States has been dealt a double-blow, with two former Trump allies convicted of serious financial and political crimes on the same day.

The Trump administration in the United States has been dealt a double-blow, with two former Trump allies convicted of serious financial and political crimes on the same day.


U-S President Donald Trump's former campaign chair, Paul Manafort, has been found guilty of eight charges including bank fraud and filing false tax returns.  

And the President's  former lawyer, Michael Cohen has pleaded guilty to campaign finance fraud, directly implicating the U-S President in his guilty plea.
