Adelaide midfielder Patrick Dangerfield says he has been cleared of any knee injury after being forced from the field in Sunday's AFL win against Collingwood.

Dangerfield says he doesn't need scans on his right knee despite hearing a popping sound in the joint late in the last quarter of the MCG fixture.

"It will be a bit sore and swollen but we have fantastic medical staff and I'm sure I will be sweet to go next weekend," he told the club's website on Monday.
