An anonymous donor has offered a $1 million reward for credible information leading to a pair of the sequined shoes which was stolen from a museum in Minnesota.
The slippers were worn by Judy Garland in the film 'The Wizard of Oz'.
Three other pairs of ruby slippers exist, including a pair on display at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington.
John Kelsch, executive director of the Judy Garland Museum in Minnestoa, said an anonymous donor and avid fan of Judy Garland has provided the reward.
The successful claimant of the reward is required to provide the name of the person who stole the slippers and the shoes exact location.
The theft occurred a decade ago next month.
Kelsch says the slippers had been insured for $1 million, but the slippers could now be worth up to $3 million.
