Protesters have rallied against an 'abusive' and 'sexist' pick up artist after he was booked for a talk onboard a river cruise in Melbourne's Southbank.

It is reported that the speaker was Luke Jaywalker, nicknamed RSD Max. He is part of the group RSD (Real Social Dynamics), which is known for their controversial workshops and seminars that teach men how to manipulate women into having sex.

On Wednesday evening, Jaywalker was reportedly booked for a talk onboard on a Melbourne river cruise when protesters stormed St Kilda pier with placards, demanding for the event to be cancelled.
Victoria Police turned up, escorting some of the men off the boat amidst a chorus of people chanting "walk of shame walk of shame."

It's believed some members stayed on board the boat and continued the seminar.
Jaywalker is the colleague of another controversial pick up artist Julien Blanc.

On Blanc's website pimpingmygame.com, the self-described “executive dating coach” promises to “make girls beg to sleep with you after short-circuiting their emotional and logical mind into a million reasons why they should.”

Many have called his “pick up” tactics sexually abusive and sexist.

In one video, Blanc is seen using his “white male” privilege to harass Japanese women. He grabs the heads of random females on the street and pushes them towards his crotch.

His demeaning seduction techniques have attracted huge online backlash. Organiser of a Change.org petition, Jennifer Li, started the hashtag #TakeDownJulienBlanc and called on Australians to boycott Blanc’s seminars.

“Julien Blanc and his group, RSD (Real Social Dynamics) are a group of sexist and racist 'pick up artists,' who have made a living by teaching men how to violate women through physical and emotional abuse."

Many hotels - including Melbourne's Como Hotel and the Hilton Garden Inn Austin in the US - have since cancelled events featuring Blanc and his colleagues after the Change.org petition went viral.
