Belen Mozo has stormed into a five-stroke lead at the New Zealand Women's Open with a superb eight-under second round 64, which included a hole in one.
The Spaniard holed out on the par-three 13th and had eight birdies on Friday at the Windross Farm Golf Course.
The closest challengers to Mozo - ranked 206th in the world - are unheralded American Emily Tubert (65), Sweden's Madelene Sagstrom (67) and Canada's Brooke Henderson (70), the overnight co-leader.
Sarah Jane Smith (66) and Su Oh (70) are the best-placed Australians at five-under par in a tie for 18th.
Sarah Kemp (69) is at three-under with Stacey Peters (70) at one-under par.

Whitney Hillier (71) and Katerine Kirk (74) made the cut on the number at one-over.
New Zealand's world No.8 Lydia Ko moved up the leaderboard with a bogey-free four-under 68 to be tied-12th.
She sits alongside five other players including first-round co-leader Jodi Ewart Shadoff, who carded a 73 on day two.
