24 teens detained at out-of-control party

The 16-year-old organiser of a party advertised on Facebook is assisting police after the event got out of control and 24 teens were detained.

Twenty-four teenagers have been detained at an out-of-control party in Perth's northeastern suburbs.

Police were called to the area on reports that young people were drinking alcohol and had spilled out onto the street.

Almost 20 police cars attended the call-out, including the Regional Operations Group, the dog squad, local police and response teams.

The 16-year-old organiser of the party, which had been advertised on Facebook, is assisting police with their inquiries.
