$2m lotto prize still to be claimed in WA

A $2 million division one lotto prize has yet to be claimed in Western Australia following the Saturday Lotto Superdraw.

West Australians might want to double-check their lotto tickets because someone has won $2 million in the Saturday Lotto Superdraw.

The winning ticket was sold at Broome Lottery Centre and News in the Kimberley region.

Owner Nescia Hick said she had a feeling a lucky lotto strike was coming up after a couple of winning tickets were sold there in recent years.

"The win has been a hot topic across town with lots of excited locals," she said.

"We are delighted we have sold another big winner.

"We hope it goes to someone in the community that needs it."

Lotterywest raised almost $4 million for the WA community from the Superdraw.

From the 11 division-one lotto tickets sold in WA so far this year, six have been from rural towns including Denmark, Albany, Donnybrook, Pinjarra and Augusta.
