Organisers have been forced to call a second consecutive lay day at the World Surf League (WSL) Cascais Women's Pro in Portugal.
With only small surf (0.5 metre) on offer at stop No.8 on the WSL championship tour and the start of the European leg, officials say the event will start when conditions improve.
The Cascais Women's Pro welcomes a red-hot title fight for the 2015 crown as well as a dramatic race to requalify for next year's elite tour.
"It's still really small here at Carcavelos, it's a beautiful calm day but we're not going to run Round one today," said WSL deputy commissioner, Jessi Miley-Dyer.
"We are going to need to move to Guincho at some stage - the challenge there is the wind. We have a lot of swell available there but we'll wait for the wind to back off a little bit before we can move."
When competition begins, up first will be American Lakey Peterson against Hawaiians Tatiana Weston-Webb and Alessa Quizon.
