4.8 magnitude earthquake off Australia

A 4.8 magnitude earthquake has struck off the Australian coast.

The quake off the Victorian coastline was recorded by Geosciences Australia at 12.45pm on Thursday, with damage reportedly felt up to 11km away.

The Bureau of Meteorology said there is no risk of a tsunami to Australia as a result.
