40th measles case reaches country NSW

NSW Health says two young men have been diagnosed with measles in the state's west, bringing to 40 the number of cases in NSW since Christmas.

Two new measles cases have been reported in western NSW, bringing the state's total to 40 since Christmas.

NSW Health confirmed on Friday that two young men had been diagnosed and were linked to a recent case in Dubbo imported from New Zealand.

They had visited a number of locations in Dubbo, Walgett, Parkes and Wagga Wagga while infectious between April 26 and 29.
