Five people have suffered gunshot wounds during a private birthday celebration hosted by singer Chris Brown at a nightclub in San Jose in the United States.
Dramatic video posted to YouTube and Vine show the moment the shooting took place.
One video shows the singer performing when a man to his right points into the crowd. Smiling, Brown says: 'Oh, them n****s gettin' it in over there'.
The singer then flinches as shots ring out and is quickly ushered from the stage by a bodyguard.
Four people with gunshot wounds were taken to a hospital. A fifth person walked into a hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. All were listed in stable condition.
Brown was not among the injured.
San Jose police detained several people during the investigation. It was unclear what led up to the shooting.
